Day 1: Arrival in Nice – The Heart of the Riviera
Nice is the gateway to the French Riviera, and it’s the perfect place to start your adventure. The moment I step off the plane, I can already smell the salty sea breeze mixed with the scent of blooming flowers.
The first thing I always do in Nice is take a leisurely stroll along the Promenade des Anglais. This famous seafront walkway is lined with palm trees, historic hotels, and cafes, offering the perfect introduction to the Riviera’s relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. I love stopping at a seaside café for a café au lait and just watching the world go by.
In the afternoon, I head to Vieux Nice (Old Town). The narrow, winding streets are full of colorful buildings, charming boutiques, and lively markets. The Cours Saleya Market is a must-visit—this flower and food market is a feast for the senses.
